my father grew up in a little town in southwest VA called Troutdale in Grayson Co., named for its wonderful Trout streams. That's where I learned to fish as a child. Still remember the smell and the taste of pan fried trout for breakfast.
yum. fresh trout. i am now inspired to spend a weekend up near the cranberry river...soon.
Roger, sounds like your camp is close to our old Coe place, at the head of the holler along Cranberry Ridge straight up from Big Rock campground.
Enjoy.
